David Keegan Garden Design & Build offer a fully comprehensive garden design service from initial brief through to conception. We also offer a planning application service for landscaping.

The garden design service we offer consists of:-

•  An initial visit to determine the brief where David will discuss with the client any ideas they may have. Due to the large number of requests for visits, a small fee will be charged for this service. If you have not got any ideas, don't worry, David will provide a full design later in the process. Photographs will be taken of the plot or existing garden.

•  Architectural plans will be obtained for the plot or if they are not available, a full site survey will be undertaken. The survey will be carried out by David, or a professional surveyor, dependant upon the size and complexity of the garden.

•  At a further meeting with the client, colour plans will be provided showing David's initial designs. This will include mood boards showing any ideas for planting together with designs and materials for hard landscaping. This provides an opportunity for David and the client to discuss the progression and any ideas or amendments.

•  Changes (if any) will be implemented and new colour plans will be provided. Once the plans have been agreed, 3 dimensional illustrations of how the garden will look will be provided at the next stage.

•  Illustrations, fully dimensioned plans showing hard landscaping, materials to be used, full technical specification and planting plans will be provided. This will be the final opportunity for any changes to be made.

EXTRA SERVICES

•  Full liaison with builder throughout the build.

•  Planting by David at the appropriate time of year dependant on planting scheme.

A full maintenance plan for the after care of your garden can also be provided upon request.

The client is kept fully informed throughout the whole design process so that at any time, changes can be made to accommodate the clients needs.
